Hello, my fellow wanderer!

I hope you are well 😉

I am back in my hometown in Malaysia AGAIN.

But this time I have only one goal only; to go all in on Sam Lee Travel!

Not going to lie, it is scary seeing my bank account slowly doing a disappearing act.

I came home with two suitcases, a laptop, and a mild identity crisis.

But then I realised something.

If I am going to be stressed either way, I might as well be stressed building my own thing instead of someone else dream.

And so here we are!

After I got back from Japan last month, I jumped straight into creating new Japan travel content. And I started with one of my fav places ever.

Mount Fuji.

To be honest, I did not even expect to see a clear, unobstructed view of Fujisan when I was there. It is famously shy for a reason.

But somehow, luck was on my side and I visited on two of the roughly 80 days a year where Mount Fuji is actually fully visible! 🥹

So recently my dad received a request to arrange a 4D3N Ipoh itinerary for Singaporean guests.

And we have been going around Ipoh exploring new places to suggest to the clients.

Which means… I accidentally became a full-time test subject + driver again 😅

A free guided tour was given by the staff sharing about the farm and melon farming process

You can try the 3 pieces of melon for RM12 ($3.10)

We also went to this pomelo farm in Tambun, Ipoh (this pomelo farm is just 2-minute drive away from the melon farm)

You can enter this pomelo farm for free too

The pomelo is wrapped with plastic to prevent any damage caused by insects

There are also many animals to see here, including rabbits, tortoise, koi, and even guinea pigs

Then we went back to city centre to get to one of the latest attractions in Ipoh, Ipoh Stables Market 🐴

The old stables were transformed to a brand new lifestyle market selling iconic Ipoh delicacies, artisanal crafts, and local produce

I think it is a great place to take in the atmosphere and get your hands on some local delicacies. Definitely worth a stop if you are visiting Ipoh!
